Raise the companion inference and reset reply deadline from 500 ms to 2 seconds so delayed macOS replies can refine the already-visible statistical suggestions. The 30-second startup bound, cancellation, stale-result rejection and explicit retry behavior remain unchanged. The same constant drives the reported capability and enforced waits.
Adds fake-worker cases with 750 ms inference/reset replies. Existing stalled-worker tests continue to verify bounded failure and explicit recovery. Formatting, warnings-denied Clippy and four Python neural checks passed locally; the full neural workspace tests passed, including nine lifecycle tests. Independent review cleared head 171210e. All CI checks passed on Windows, Linux, macOS ARM and macOS Intel. Merged after validation. No input is injected.
This supports switchifyapp/switchify-pc#972. No worker protocol or model artifact changes are required.
Closes #21.
