Android could remain on “Connecting video…” even while its own camera preview worked because the Unified Plan
onTrackcallback refreshed UI state without retaining the delivered receiver track. Store that owned track before rebuilding remote bindings, and exercise the same callback path in browser interoperability instrumentation.Validation:
