### Theming

The `background-color` and `foreground-color` tokens of the `mat.tabs-overrides` mixin only take
effect when the `backgroundColor` input is set, which is supported in M2 themes only. In M3 themes,
the label and indicator colors can be customized through tokens such as `active-label-text-color`,
`inactive-label-text-color` and `active-indicator-color`. See the
[styling page](https://material.angular.dev/components/tabs/styling) for the full list of tokens.
