This follow-up addresses the post-merge review finding on #1858: when OpenCode sends cumulative text snapshots before the message role is known, retaining every snapshot can use quadratic memory for long replies.

Changes

Buffer text and reasoning as copied incremental deltas, keeping only the latest snapshot per part to derive later deltas.
Flush the final assistant message at done and clear any remaining pending buffers.
Add a regression test with cumulative snapshots arriving before done identifies the assistant message.
Keep the pending-tool explanation after the tools example in the adapter docs.
Add a patch changeset for @tanstack/ai-opencode.

Validation

translate.test.ts: 22 tests passed.
TypeScript check passed.
oxlint passed.
oxfmt and git diff --check passed.

While a message role is unknown, the adapter kept every update of a text or reasoning part. Each update holds the full text, so memory grew with the square of the reply length. Replace the earlier buffered update of the same part. The latest update has the full text, so the replay emits one chunk with that text. This replaces the delta-copy approach with a smaller change. Two delta tests now send message.updated first, so they test the live path.
