Scheduled public-documentation accuracy audit; no issue is closed by this PR. Revalidated historical audits #3468, #3515 and #3594, plus narrower corrections. #3468 and #3466 are closed unmerged; their still-applicable findings were checked again against current source. Open #3514, #3515, #3593, #3594 and #3644 retain their separate corrections.

Why this PR exists

  • A maintainer explicitly invited this PR in the linked issue or discussion
  • I am a maintainer / this is internal Roomote work

The full-site reading found stale guidance that can send users to the wrong settings page, misstate which model pays for memory or voice processing, or require unnecessary integration setup. Current upstream OpenCode guidance also differs from the historical audit's proposal.

What changed

  • Correct source-control settings paths, Grok 4.7 defaults, memory's helper-model synthesis default, voice transcript cleanup, admin-only cost analytics and API-first repository reads from Slack/Discord sessions.
  • Use built-in Resend OAuth in the newsletter recipe, describe session-based housekeeping results and current-message Slack reactions, and include personal custom MCP scope in the overview. Correct both MCP guides to explain that remote entries occupy names before environment entries, while environment entries precede deployment stdio for vacant names.
  • Update OpenCode Go's plan/allowance/Extra Usage guidance, restore the historical ChatGPT subscription redirect, repair the routing anchor and attachment table, and remove misleading configuration-history copy.

Docs-only: 23 files, no runtime behavior change. Source authority is main/v1.19.7 1c431ec5 and develop fb5e231d; implementation and docs trees match. Pending corrections are not treated as shipped or duplicated here.

How it was tested

  • Passed mise exec -- pnpm --filter @roomote/docs check-cookbook-index (seven recipes current).
  • Passed mise exec -- pnpm --filter @roomote/docs check (pinned Mintlify build validation and broken links).
  • Independent static navigation/internal-path/heading-anchor scan: 122 public MDX pages, 114 navigation leaves, zero missing paths or anchor warnings; git diff --check passed.
  • Normal pre-push hooks passed: oxlint, residual web/worker ESLint, check-types:fast (27 tasks), and Knip. Pre-commit formatting passed. Judgement allowed the commit but reported two prose rules incomplete because its model/evidence evaluation was unavailable; this is not a full rule pass.
  • Browser proof for the initial audit was blocked by Error loading page in the configured local Mintlify preview. The MCP precedence follow-up is a semantic correction verified through both source merge stages; screenshot proof is not applicable. Docs checks and normal pre-push gates passed again. No screenshot evidence is claimed.

Read every current public MDX page, including hidden installation guidance and all recipes. This is not independent verification of every claim or end-to-end provider coverage: live authorization, installation, billing, backup/restore and chat journeys were not exercised, external links were checked selectively, and detailed unverified claims are identified in the audit report and per-page ledger. Machine-readable coverage inventory. These authenticated Roomote artifacts require deployment access; the key findings and validation limits are summarized above for public reviewers.

Checklist

  • The PR title follows the repo convention: [Fix], [Feat], [Improve], [Refactor], [Docs], or [Chore] followed by a user-facing description
  • This PR is small and scoped to one change
  • pnpm lint and pnpm check-types pass locally
    • Ran the normal fast pre-push gates and docs-specific validation above; formatting-inclusive full commands were not run.
  • I added tests or included a clear manual validation note above
  • I removed secrets, tokens, private keys, and customer data from code, logs, and screenshots
  • If this change should appear in the changelog, I ran pnpm changeset
    • Documentation-only corrections; no runtime changeset.

Reviewed the two-file update since the previous review against SDK resolution and worker setup. Both guides now correctly describe remote-name collisions and environment-versus-deployment stdio precedence. Current-head docs validation, lint, typecheck, tests, and Knip passed in CI; the Docker build was still running when checked. Rendered pages and live provider workflows were not exercised.
