CI is failing ("Typecheck, Lint, Test") on this @vitest/coverage-v8 3.2.6 → 4.1.9 major-version bump. This package tracks the vitest major version and fails for the same reason as #257 — the project needs migration work to be compatible with vitest 4.

Recommendation: Coordinate this with #257. Both PRs should be updated together once the vitest 4 migration changes are identified.

CI is showing unstable — the major version bump (3.x → 4.x) likely contains breaking API or config changes. Note that #257 (vitest itself, also 3→4) is also open; these two companion packages should be coordinated. Please investigate the failing checks before merging.

PR has been rebased to the current main (e9038c44), but CI is still failing on Typecheck, Lint, Test. The root issue is unchanged: @vitest/coverage-v8 tracks the vitest major version, and this 3.x → 4.x jump needs project-side migration work. Neither this PR nor its companion #257 can merge until the vitest 4 migration is resolved. Once the project is updated for vitest 4 compatibility, both PRs should land together.

This PR has been rebased to a new HEAD (eff12acdb2026ad2c23f40d4f516d22c4b6a37df) but CI is still failing. The @vitest/coverage-v8 3→4 major version bump continues to break the test suite. Holding until CI is green.
