Preface

This document describes the functionality provided by the XL Release Samson plugin.

See the XL Release reference manual for background information on XL Release and release orchestration concepts.

Overview

This XL Release plugin can trigger deployments on Samson.

Requirements

• XL Release 7.0+

Installation

• Copy the latest JAR file from the releases page into the XL_RELEASE_SERVER/plugins directory or use the Plugin Manager.
• Restart the XL Release server.

Usage

Deploy

Deploy to stages based on Commit SHA, Webhook ID and giving a message.
