Research-engineering bridge
The work spans three layers that share one substrate: a sole-authored SSRN corpus, published as an atomic claim layer at wulfkaal.github.io.
Theory
Computative Economics as a framework for reasoning about coordination under collapsing marginal cost.
Empirical and simulation.
Two parallel tracks: applying that framework to the present technological regime, and an independent empirical study of reputation as agentic coordination infrastructure.
Mechanism and infrastructure.
Reputation as the coordination substrate that takes load off price when price degrades. Agent-side infrastructure lives in kaal-corpus-mcp, an MCP server
exposing the corpus as a typed knowledge graph.
Engineering principles
- Specs before code. Specs that survive contact with simulation before deployment.
- Substrate-agnostic at the design layer. Opinionated at the deployment layer.
- Reputation is a coordination good, not a score. Architect it accordingly.
- Local-first compute. The home lab runs more inference than most teams can afford to rent.
- Papers and protocols are the same artifact at different fidelities.
