What changed

  • rebrand the MIT fork as Git Fleet with extension ID wgrant-dev.git-fleet
  • add a dedicated multi-repository Activity Bar navigator with activity, dirty, and folder-tree views
  • add configurable global repository search roots and a hide-clean control
  • make Uncommitted Changes open the shared file tree and diff experience
  • add a worktree history rail with HEAD, inferred-base, dirty, ahead/behind, and offscreen cues
  • add public screenshots, attribution, security, roadmap, contributing, and publishing documentation
  • replace automatic Marketplace publishing with a verified GitHub VSIX release workflow
  • remove the inherited hard-coded GitLab API token

Verification

  • formatting, typecheck, lint, and production build pass
  • 144 Vitest tests pass (89 backend, 15 extension, 40 webview)
  • Simplified and Traditional Chinese bundles are 112/112 translated
  • packaged and installed wgrant-dev.git-fleet@0.1.0
  • smoke-tested in a clean VS Code Extension Development Host against synthetic repositories and worktrees

Lineage

Forked from asispts/neo-git-graph, which is based on the last MIT-licensed commit of mhutchie/vscode-git-graph. The MIT notices and explicit attribution are preserved.
