Covers: regenerated anonymized data/sample/, NOTICE data-attribution rewrite (source framing, current sensitive-column names, fresh counts), README data/methodology/reproduce rewrite, CITATION version bump.

Gate: tracked files under data/ are only the dictionary and the sample export; no sensitive-column values or PII patterns anywhere tracked; claims match the tree; the public-exposure audit passes (checklist attached here).

Positioning decisions for the public-surface rewrite (recorded 2026-06-13)

Context: the greenfield rebuild is independent work; the academic origin is acknowledged, not erased. As a down-payment, the institutional affiliation was already dropped from CITATION.cff (on main). The remaining items below are this card's coherent public-surface rewrite — done together, under the public-exposure audit, when the app exists.

The four items:

1. CITATION.cff abstract — generalize from the Part-1 case study's specific findings to a description of the current independent project.
2. README.md — lead with the current project (the application); Part 1 acknowledged as prior work. (Depends on the app existing.)
3. reports/methodology.md — restructure to Part 2 (the current rebuild) prominently on top, Part 1 (the original academic case study) below. The full Part-2 content writes itself as the rebuild completes — do not describe an unbuilt app.
4. Academic Part-1 acknowledgment — present its own citation, but name-safe only: institution + year + the author. Never teammate/advisor names or the course code.

Binding constraint (applies to all four): a tracked/public file may carry the academic origin (institution + year) but never teammate/advisor names or the course code (public-repo discipline). The full team citation remains only in the untracked source archive and never enters the tree.
