Several frontend files contained debug console.log() statements that were appearing in production builds.

Type of change

• commented unnecessary console.log statements
• Wrapped development-only logs using import.meta.env.DEV
• Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
• This change requires a documentation update
