Summary

validateTeam accepted a Prompter, immediately discarded it with void prompter, and forced headless provisioning and tests to pass UI state the function never read. This is concrete proof of a dead dependency in the setup contract.

The hypothesis is that narrowing the internal contract to its real inputs removes false UI coupling without changing behavior. Before, both setup paths called Prompter + project root + team -> validateTeam -> listTeams. After, they call project root + team -> validateTeam -> listTeams. Team lookup, error handling, and cancellation stay unchanged.

No public API or output changes. The patch also removes the now-unneeded fake prompters from the focused tests.

Full pnpm --filter eve test:unit runs hit 5s timeouts in unrelated dynamic-import tests. Every timed-out test passed when rerun in isolation (45 tests).
