Features & Improvements
- Based on Android 15 QPR 2 Evolution X GSI manifest and built from source with multiple tweaks for improved reliability on the Hibreak Pro.
- Google Apps Included: This variant ships with Google apps preinstalled-no root required.
- Screen Reliability: HW overlays are now completely disabled at the system level, resolving previous issues where the screen was unreliable on first boot. Setup now works without needing a screen mirroring app.
- Clean Mode Performance: Addressed and fixed the issue where clean mode was excessively slow and refreshed on every screen element change.
- E-Ink Center Settings Persistence: Fixed settings in the e-ink center not persisting across
- Stock Settings Overlay: Added an overlay derived from stock settings for improved compatibility.
- Power Profile: Integrated the power profile from the stock ROM.
- OTA Updates Enabled: OTA updates are now enabled-future releases from this GitHub page should be detected automatically (untested but expected to work).
Initial Setup & Important Instructions
- Setup Guide: Please follow the previous guide for recommended settings.
- Default Dark Mode: The device boots in dark mode by default; you can change this in settings.
- Phh Treble Settings: Some settings require opening the Treble app once to take effect. Go to Settings > System > Phh Treble Settings, open any menu, then return.
- E-Ink Center Note: On first boot, the e-ink center UI may display incorrectly (buttons not black). After opening Treble settings and rebooting, the display will normalize.

Working:
- Both action buttons can be mapped to various actions
- Force screen refresh action
- Frontlight controls
- Auto-refresh for speed mode i.e. Bigme's super refresh or whatever they call it
- Anti-flicker
- Choosing between 4 refresh modes
Known Bug:
- I believe this one to be a bug with the GSI. On setting a PIN, one cannot swipe to reveal the keypad for some reason. After activating the accessibility service, simply press the lock screen icon to reveal it. If you have set up a fingerprint, this becomes redundant.
Upcoming Tweaks:
- Always-on display is currently all black, need to change that and add a filter.
- Integration of the accessibility service with the system.
The always-on tweaks are currently not available in the app- whatever options are in the preferences, don't work.
