I know that existing attribute "data-sm-options". I think the better solution for managing properties in smartmenus is adding to tag "ul" independent attributes. It should be more useful, but this is my opinion. If author wants to use I will be happy to make help. In my case it is the best solution. I think also the file needs a testing to make sure everything works fine.
