Change and mathematical scope

Audit of one existing intake receipt. No new κ, no selected-frontier change, and no closure.

On canonical main 32890bc5de034ab8fc93ac88ead7279a6a416d04, the queue-oct24a snapshot's four waiting_revision rows are still open and unretained:

PR Recorded head On this base
CrocSwap#4580 55de56abdfd9cd7fb83758241793c18b9ae9ce71 not installed
CrocSwap#4612 0e0df631da41a1f9ed3489e8df532189c2643cbf not installed
CrocSwap#5427 389578f2d3ef075495ce76f08100ac50e18f7d40 not installed
CrocSwap#5432 6532b45ce9f3259d7408594ec480a140ec81e0e2 not installed

CrocSwap#5427's ledger text is still Clear1nsight's Part 1 qualification of that modular head (A=[p], b=1), with Part 2 not independently accepted.

The live CrocSwap#5427 head observed on 2026-10-25 is e0192de5d97e5ac09f42d26d9ceedee6377c77e2. Its parents are the exact-Q repair dacc35b1f35c2b4bc2e3910520ba5cf46a020bed (child of 389578f2) and this base. The repair is not contained in the base. The false sentence that non-membership modulo 2^61-1 implies non-membership over Q is gone there, and the repaired Span reports that 1 lies in the rational span of p. The other three recorded heads still matched GitHub on that observation.

One replay of Matarener's checker at e0192de5 on CPython 3.12.3 exited 0 with PASS_ZQY_OBSERVATION_NOT_RETAINED. That is an author-checker replay, not acceptance of Part 2 and not a reason to merge CrocSwap#5427.

An ours-merge makes 389578f2 and dacc35b1f reachable so the source pins resolve. It does not take the ZQY tree.

Task and overlap

Task overlap-receipt, scope refined to this one receipt. Base 32890bc5de034ab8fc93ac88ead7279a6a416d04. Eligible-list item 19 of the revision-7 catalogue order.

Nearest work is the maintained queue-oct24a receipt and Clear1nsight's review of 389578f2. This package records that the hold does not name dacc35b1f. No other receipt package for that head change was found.

Validation

python3 -B research/pr5427-hold-head-receipt/verify.py
python3 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/pr5427-hold-head-receipt

Both passed here (PASS_PR5427_HOLD_HEAD_RECEIPT, PASS_REGISTERED_RESEARCH_PACKAGE). The checker does not contact GitHub and does not rerun the ZQY census. The separate author replay above was not registered in VERIFY.json. --left-depth 2 and the optimised command were not run.

Credit

Queue-oct24a and the ledger rows are the maintained record. Chris R / Clear1nsight wrote the Part 1 qualification. Mark / Matarener wrote the ZQY package and the exact-Q repair. The package scaffold is Douglas Colkitt's.

Prepared by unpaidmoon with substantial Cursor Grok assistance. Apache-2.0.

Re-read CrocSwap#5427 at e0192de5 before any closure. The modular sentence no longer matches that head. Part 2 remains outside the earlier review. This receipt does not perform that reading.

Workflow feedback (optional)

Fork main is behind canonical main, so this draft is based on a pin of 32890bc5 rather than the fork's main.

…negative result, no new kappa)

Adds research/zqy-observation-not-retained, answering CrocSwap#5415 open question 1,
CrocSwap#5419 experiment 1 and CrocSwap#5425 open question 1 in the formal free-word grammar:
no full-frame version of the PR5402 provider word or the CrocSwap#4610 word (both
orientations) contains pure y content, and b = Z Q Y is outside the free span
of all caller versions at every one of the 18 backward FULL returns, also with
the whole caller history.

…wap#5420)

Canonical main still names make frontier4610-verify while the selected record
requires frontier5413-verify, so the shared onboarding test fails before any
package replay. This reuses byte-for-byte the docs/ci-verification.md repair
of CrocSwap#5420 (head baa8fbb, Clear1nsight);
no scientific file changes.

…euse census)

For every paid climb/centre of the PR5402 provider word and the CrocSwap#4610 word (both
orientations), the result is not in the span of earlier versions in its target frame,
neither before the climb nor before the next touch of the field; no thin query, IDLE
or LOCAL Y output of the p16 caller is a free combination of earlier versions.
Injected-copy and repeated-query controls. Answers the global occurrence-ledger
question of CrocSwap#5423 on the frozen words.

Review of CrocSwap#5427: non-membership modulo p only excludes p-integral
coefficients. The span engine now keeps exact Fraction echelon forms, so all
ranks, intersections and non-memberships (both parts) are over Q. Every
recorded number is unchanged, including the optional depth-2 run (closure
rank 56405, 0 of 18).

The overlap receipt pins verify.py and PROOF.md at the reviewed head
389578f and the repair commit dacc35b. Those commits are reachable
through this merge so the pins resolve in a clone of this branch.
The tree stays on upstream main 32890bc.

…head.

The retained receipt still binds open PR 5427 to 389578f. The exact-Q
repair dacc35b is that head's child and is not in main. The other three
waiting-revision rows are unchanged and unretained. No closure.
