I build free, open-source tools and give them away: native Mac utilities and private web tools that replace paid or upload-based services. Everything is MIT licensed, has no accounts, no ads and no telemetry.
| 🖥️ 100 free Mac apps | Menu bar utilities, clipboard managers, window managers, system monitors, audio tools. Native Swift and SwiftUI, macOS 14+. | catalog on GitHub |
| 🌐 Free web tools that run in your browser | PDF, image, developer, data, text and audio tools. Nothing is uploaded, works offline, installable as apps. | catalog on GitHub |
Each app and tool is a free alternative to a paid product you may already know, with its own repo, landing page, screenshots and tests.
- ClipBar: a fast, native clipboard manager for macOS, the project that started the collection above.
- animi: a lightweight 4K/8K video wallpaper and idle screensaver engine for macOS and Windows, built with Rust and Tauri.
The apps and web tools in the two collections were written by Claude Code inside an automated pipeline I built, from plain-English specs, as clean-room implementations: no code or assets from any commercial product. Every web tool must pass a headless browser test suite (zero console errors, no third-party traffic, phone layout, dark theme, offline) and an independent review before it is published, and every README says so in a "Built with AI" section. They have had less human review than hand-written software, so bug reports and pull requests are welcome on each repo.
If one of these saves you a subscription, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi.
