This is class project I conducted as team leader. I developed Matlab code to calculate the wellbore stability considering Mohr-Columb failure criteria in gemomechanical calculations. Example cases was studied using the code and based on results conclusions about wellbore stability during drilling was reached.

Liner force calculations are critical during well construction to ensure the liner reaches the desired depth and can be securely hung and cemented. These calculations determine axial loads, bending moments, and side forces, which are influenced by friction, buoyancy, and wellbore geometry.
