AutoEq Device Manager v2.0.0
Release v2.0.0 of the AutoEq Device Manager Windows system-tray tool for selecting playback devices and setting Parametric EQ profiles for audio devices.
Enhancements
- Ability to provide non-AutoEq profiles to be packed into the system-tray tool. Any equalizer profile with the following filename syntax within the /config sub-directory will be automatically configured within the system-tray tool.
Parametric_EQ_*.txt
- New settings capability allowing for additional user-configuration of playback devices and equalizer profiles
- Ability to configure each playback device as a "Headphone", "Speaker" or "Line-Out" device along with a default equalizer profile.
- Ability to configure each equalizer profile as a "Headphone" or "Speaker" device type.
- Each device will be packed into the system-tray tool with all equalizer profiles of the same type. "Line-Out" devices will receive all equalizer profiles, both "Headphone" and "Speaker" equalizer profiles.
- Various improvements to code readability
- Added debug option to more easily facilitate development
- Complete code refactoring shifting methods into callable functions

- Improvement to the menu for audio playback devices that do not have EqualizerAPO installed. Now, those devices display a tool-tip on mouse over, "EqualizerAPO Not Installed", and do not show a drop-down selection of EQ profiles.
- If no connected audio playback devices have EqualizerAPO installed, a system-tray notification is raised.

- [New] Dynamic tool-tip for the system-tray tool icon displaying the previously selected playback device and EQ profile on mouse over.
- Addition of Error Handling for checking for a valid Internet connection.
- Addition of Error Handling for validating /eq_profiles.json.
- Cosmetic improvements:
