XPortScan is a cross-platform lightweight gui multi-threaded port scanner. 
This is the XPortScan v. 2.1 beta 
Currently only tcp connect() scanning (vanilla scan) is included, although more advance port scan methods are in the works.
(actually you can see how it's going in the source code.)
