The trimmed README listed its main pages but left out the monitor UI, so a reader could not tell the feature exists without opening the docs index. release-please reads only Conventional Commits on main. Every commit here uses the Tailscale "dir: verb" style, so it saw no releasable commit and never opened a release PR. Keep the Tailscale style for commits on a branch, and require a Conventional Commit PR title, which becomes the squash-merge subject. Say so in AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md. Align release-please-config.json with ax-go's keys and section names, which match the CHANGELOG headings, and grant the release-please job issues: write so it can label its PR.
