Desktop sidebar icons and labels now align to the left. A responsive Tailwind utility overrides the shared button's centring above 800 px; compact navigation stays centred. Removes the ineffective component-layer alignment rule.
Closes #852.
Validation: Node 24 lint, 217 UI tests, 5 update-feed tests and production build pass. Rust 1.97.1 formatting, Clippy and 506 tests pass (one existing ignored test). Generated CSS confirms the utility-layer rule and complementary >800 px breakpoint. Windows 11 ARM VM build and visual checks confirm left-aligned desktop navigation, centred compact navigation, selection and keyboard focus outlines. Independent review of ba6d18e found no actionable findings. Local installed application is untouched.
All CI checks passed, including macOS and Windows native builds.
