… GKE
values.yaml set dcgm-exporter.nodeSelector to the GKE accelerator label. Helm
merges maps, so the `nodeSelector: {}` in values-aws.yaml and values-aks.yaml
could not remove it, and values-ack.yaml got it on top of its own labels: the
exporter scheduled on no node outside GKE. The default is now empty, and the
AWS and AKS overlays select the sie.superlinked.com/node-type=gpu label their
terraform modules set on GPU nodes.

Thanks for tracking this down. A nodeSelector: {} overlay cannot clear a key from the chart default, so the exporter never scheduled outside GKE, and moving the GPU labels into each cloud overlay fixes that. The render test covers each overlay and CI is green. Approving.
Optional follow-ups:
- Installs that enable the exporter without a cloud overlay now schedule it on every node, including CPU nodes. A note next to
dcgm-exporter.nodeSelectorinvalues.yamlasking those users to set a GPU node label would help. - The AWS and AKS selectors rely on labels the Terraform modules set, so a short comment that clusters built another way should override the selector would help those users.
- The PR title is cut off with an ellipsis.

Thanks again. #809 just merged and also appended tests to the end of |
