Description

Adds a minimal Astro getting-started example following the structure of the existing framework examples.

Screen.Recording.2026-07-25.at.23.54.48.mov

The example:

  • Loads SuperDoc in a client-side <script> to avoid SSR issues
  • Supports uploading and rendering .docx files
  • Includes the bundled SuperDoc fonts
  • Registers Astro in the examples manifest, documentation, and CI suite
  • Configures Playwright to run the Astro development server on port 4321

Testing

  • Confirmed the Astro example builds and starts successfully
  • Confirmed an uploaded .docx opens in SuperDoc
  • Existing smoke tests pass

Hey @git-antonyuk, thanks for putting this together and including the demo!

We’re now focusing new work on v2 in main, and the example structure has changed. Could you recreate the Astro example from main and open a new PR targeting that branch?

Thanks again—we’d be happy to review it there.
