Scratchpad now opens
.scratchpadfiles with Orca's existing custom-editor document API. This replaces the sidebar implementation, whose persistence depended on an unreleased private storage API. Works with Orca >=1.4.245 and requests no capabilities.Create an empty
notes.scratchpadfile, open it, and use the checklist UI. Save with Cmd+S / Ctrl+S. Orca owns the document buffer, file writes, dirty state, and remote file handling. Invalid and read-only files disable editing; failed edits remain available for retry; external changes while editing block overwrites and preserve local text.Validation: five document-controller tests pass. Chromium loads the generated inline bundle in the released Orca editor frame shell with its sandbox CSP and accepts checklist entries without script errors. Manifest validates with the CI-pinned validator; release metadata generated with release-entry.mjs.
