- I thought it was really interesting to learn how splash screens work, even if it seems somewhat hacky (I'm surprised there isn't a built-in way to make a splash screen activity). My main issue is that it was difficult to find a nice-looking drawable for the splash screen, so it ended up looking pretty generic. Also, I wasn't too sure how to make the transition from the splash screen to the actual activity smoother.
