Hello i'm in 1.20.1 and the spell on tchat it's good but in spellbook, je can't throw projectile, it's normal or bug?

Is the spell identical when you try to cast it through chat and through the spellbook? Do you see any kind of message when casting? Spellbooks have a lower cost limit than casting through chat, so if the spell normally damages you when cast through chat, it may be too powerful to cast using a tome.
