Problem or Use Case

When plugging / unplugging from monitor, need to set the wallpaper again.

Proposed Solution

Gracefully handles when plugging in and unplugging from external monitors. Maybe have an option to set a wallpaper when not plugging in and handles the change when plugging / unplugging.

Thanks for filing this. Two readings here and they lead to different features, so could you say which one you mean?

1. Same preset, re-applied automatically. You keep one wallpaper, and SpreadPaper re-renders and re-applies it whenever a display is connected or disconnected.
2. A different wallpaper per setup. Laptop alone gets one wallpaper, docked with the external monitor gets another, and SpreadPaper switches between them as you plug and unplug.

Also helpful: what do you see right now after unplugging? A stretched or cropped image, the old wallpaper still in place, or a blank desktop?

I'm not exactly sure what cause the problem could have been between restarts the desktops are messed up on MacOS. Now it seems to work correctly when plug / unplug the wallpapers goes back to its settings without restarting, when I was using days ago, i have to reset the wallpapers again, let me monitor this further.

Now thinking about it, it may be because of the other issue I created, when wall papers are not applied to "all desktops", plugging in may show different desktop configurations. Meaning for on Monitor 1 I have desktop 1, 2 and 3 and Monitor 2 I have desktop 4, 5, 6. Spreadpaper sets the wall papers on desktop 1 and desktop 4. Hence, when I left my setup and use the laptop somewhere else i could have changed desktops and when plugging back in it shows desktops 2 and 4. Hence, broken.
