Spotbo is a free app for discovering and creating hyperlocal meetups in NYC. Explore an interactive map of what's happening around you, create meetups in seconds, connect through a social feed, and coordinate with end-to-end encrypted messaging. Currently live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — expanding neighborhood by neighborhood.
Discover meetups and events on an interactive map powered by Mapbox. Filter by category, see what's happening right now, and RSVP with one tap.
Spin up a meetup in under 30 seconds. Set a spot, pick a time, and share it. No forms, no approval process, no fees.
Follow people you meet, share posts, and see what your neighborhood is up to between events.
All direct messages are end-to-end encrypted using the Signal Protocol. We can't read your messages. Nobody can.
Plan your day across multiple meetups. Get a route map and a shareable Day Recap when you're done.
NYC has 8 million people and infinite things to do, but finding something happening right now, right here is still harder than it should be. Group chats get buried. Event apps charge organizers. Instagram stories disappear before you see them.
Spotbo started in Williamsburg because we believe the best way to meet your city is one neighborhood at a time. No algorithms deciding what you see based on ad spend. No fees to host or attend. Just a map, your neighborhood, and the people in it.
