Extract portable scheduler contracts into files named after their public traits and expose
FileIO, preserving all formerFileIoimports. Require source-region coverage on every existing platform and architecture, Linux io_uring, and FreeBSD, retaining the aggregate merge gate. The new coverage jobs exposed previously untested io_uring error paths. Add deterministic, thread-local failure injection in test builds for initialization and system calls, then exercise real socket readiness and ring I/O after retries. Consolidate the owned-buffer retry loop and make completion, pending-queue, and submission-capacity invariants explicit. Cancellation and shutdown tests verify buffer retention and completion behavior.
Refresh the private task lockfile to current coverage, readme, and agent-context providers. This patch release includes the corresponding documentation and release notes.
Local Linux all-feature verification covers 2688/2688 measured source regions with zero exclusions. The expanded platform coverage jobs must also pass before merge.
