Here's a list of DLCs (copied from my PS3) that you didn't have: 2nd Birthday Skin Pack |
|
@GabsPuNs Instead of porting skins from 64x64 to 64x32, I would recommend waiting until 64x64 skins are fully working. "For some reason the game sometimes crashes after the intro." |
Yes, I suppose I could wait until 64x64 skins are supported. Regarding the crash, I don't have any logs, although I have a theory that it could be due to the localization file. It seems to happen with DLCs that don't have a fully working localization. |
I have all of those but for Xbox One, the problem is that all the skins are 64x64. I guess I'll just focus on the texture packs. |
Hi, I think the random crashes I sometimes get are because the localization isn't working completely. For texture packs, i need two versions of the game: PS3 and Xbox One, or PS3 and PS4. PS3 only has assets if you're playing at 720p or lower resolution, and PS4 only has assets if you're playing at 1080p or higher. I need the files inside the .arc files to be swf files, these are the interface files from older versions. I don't know which specific version started using FUI files. My Discord Acc is: gabspun |
Currently the Little Big Planet skins are missing.

i was using ai only to try find out why the game would crash on intro and well this is what it said/did, Added robust bounds checks in DLCAudioFile::processDLCDataFile so malformed/truncated DLC blobs cannot walk past buffer limits. and after that the crash was fixed so, yeah, but ofc i wont submit a pr as it was authored by ai but hopefully this can help |

@MikkaHYT From which platform was the DLC originally from? Also, I never encountered issues like that with DLCs (as in them being malformed/truncated), only issue I found was the fact that this version of the game expects little-endian alignment, while X360, PS3, Wii U are expecting big-endian. I already have a PR (#1291) for this which allows loading those DLCs but doesn't fix other issues those DLCs might have. I still haven't pushed my latest changes for that PR which would fix loading audio files as it's still incomplete. |
i used the files from this pr, and the game would crash randomly on loading the main menu, sometimes it would load fine sometimes it would crash, and this seems to be the fix, the original description from the pr references this crash i believe |
Apparently, the real reason for the crash is that TU19 does not support the "menu/loading" and "battle" categories in the audio PCK. |
|
@GabsPuNs In my fork of this repo, I have a branch that has fix for menu/loading categories of audio PCK files. Haven't done a PR because it's unfinished. |
|
I did also see a post in the discord that said upon using a repo that added TU25 and 31 blocks or something, the halloween map loaded without issue, could be something of note. |
