Modernize install: drop node-downloader-helper, fix error handling - #16

Conversation
Mirror the chromedriver install rewrite on geckodriver: replace the node-downloader-helper runtime dep with native fetch + stream pipeline (Node 22+), and stop swallowing failures — install now exits non-zero with a clear message instead of being silently logged. tar.x() promise errors were also being dropped on the floor before. Switches check-latest from scraping mozilla-central's Cargo.toml (which required the request + toml + semver dev deps) to the GitHub releases API for mozilla/geckodriver. That's the same source we already download from, so it can't drift, and lets us drop three dev deps. Bumps engines.node to >=22 and the CI matrix to Node 22 to match.
