Two commits addressing two separate referencing issues:
skipoption. This is currently useful for datasets that are already referenced (such as the Michigan musicianship dataset). It could be needed in the future for other use cases.averageis provided, but the existing code turned all inputs into a list, meaning referencing would be provided['average']literally.
