DrawCheck is an AI practice coach being developed for students preparing for art college admission.
The project began when I wanted to help my daughter, who is preparing again for art college entrance exams, practice more effectively outside of her academy classes.
DrawCheck is not intended to replace art teachers.
Our goal is to help students review their work during independent practice and better understand what they should improve next.
Current evaluation areas
We are currently considering AI feedback in areas such as:
- Composition
- Form & Proportion
- Light & Shadow
- Color
- Spatial Expression
- Overall Completeness
Questions for teachers, students, researchers, and developers
We would especially appreciate opinions on:
- What criteria should be most important when evaluating art college entrance artwork?
- Are any important evaluation areas missing?
- Should the evaluation criteria differ by medium, such as drawing, watercolor, design, or painting?
- How can AI feedback avoid misleading students?
- How should improvement between multiple artworks be measured?
- How can AI feedback work together with professional art teachers rather than replace them?
Any feedback is welcome.

- 소묘·수채화·디자인·회화 등 분야별 평가기준을 달리해야 할까요?
- AI가 학생에게 잘못된 조언을 하지 않게 하려면 어떤 장치가 필요할까요?
