Principal Cloud Architect @ Myriad360. Professionally, I am cloudin' around town. Personally, I am a lover of tech, reading, music, concerts, food, & vinyl.

My name is Shannon Eldridge-Kuehn (Kuehn is pronounced “Keen”), and I like to describe myself as an “accidental technologist.” My roots are actually in communication, public speaking, and writing. I studied Communication Studies with an English minor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (Go Big Red!) and spent much of my early life in front of audiences, including years competing in high school speech tournaments. Being on stage always felt natural. Technology, however, took a slightly less conventional route into my life.
My technical career actually started behind a set of turntables. As a DJ, I wanted to record demos for club promoters, which meant figuring out how to connect audio equipment to computers and, inevitably, troubleshooting everything when it did not work. That curiosity turned into a knack for solving technical problems and eventually opened the door to help desk roles, Windows systems administration, VMware, Exchange, Office 365, Exchange Online, and ultimately cloud computing.
Along the way, I discovered that the combination of communication and technology was where I did my best work. I moved into cloud consulting at 10th Magnitude, where my interest in the cloud became a full-blown career focus, and later joined Microsoft, where I held three different roles while gaining exposure to several more across engineering, product, advocacy, and cloud architecture.
After Microsoft, I joined AHEAD as a Principal Solutions Architect focused on cloud and platform engineering. That role gave me the opportunity to work more broadly across presales, solution development, FinOps, cloud operations, platform engineering, managed services, Kubernetes, and security. I spent much of my time helping shape complex solutions, building repeatable offerings, supporting sellers and customers, and translating technical possibilities into services that could actually be delivered and operated at scale.
Today, I am a Principal Solutions Architect at Myriad360, working across cloud, AI, security, platform engineering, FinOps, and modern infrastructure. I help organizations turn complicated technical challenges into practical architectures and strategies that actually work. My communication background remains one of my biggest strengths: I can go deep technically while still translating complexity into a story that executives, engineers, sellers, and customers can understand.
So while I may have arrived in technology somewhat accidentally, I have built my career at the intersection of technology, communication, and curiosity, which turns out to be a pretty great place to be.
