Update FBNeo to retrom-core-g6e7b7ea6c61a-r1 and Butterscotch to retrom-core-g0a36f3762700-r1, retaining the released Flycast r6 inputs from master. Replace the FBNeo development override with verified immutable release assets and update the core/DAT pairing, release baseline validation and public manifest fixture.

Validation: both core PR and tag workflows passed; downloaded release assets match their metadata. Runtime lint/types, all 1,787 tests, build/package, Provider input/build/check and release build pass. The Retrom PFB uses these published core bytes for game, input, public checkpoint and different-Run restoration checks. Undertale additionally passed three fresh-browser restorations with room/player-coordinate assertions and standard-pad movement.

FBNeo core bytes changed, so old-core saves are not promised compatible. The required-only DAT now contains 8,424 sets; four locally audited older ROM packages need updated required files. Butterscotch’s two earlier intermittent cold-browser observations remain unattributed and are not claimed as fixed. Actual browser input is injected standard Gamepad API input; physical USB controllers and speaker output are outside this run.

Core PRs: retrom-project/FBNeo#3 and retrom-project/Butterscotch#9. Detailed bounded product evidence is maintained in Retrom’s docs/core-upstream-sync-2026-10-12.md.
