The new report [AI is Statistics](https://rss.org.uk/RSS/media/File-library/Policy/2026/AI-is-Statistics-FINAL.pdf) from the [Royal Statistical Society](https://rss.org.uk/) makes the case that recognising the statistical nature of AI is important for effectively using and setting policy around the technology @rss2026.
