Red Teaming and Pentesting Custom Tooling

Ovierview

Custom tooling and automations to aid in pentesting & red teaming engagements. Some are built for ctfs and cert exames but will stay here for reference.

Networking Scanning

  • quick-discovery.sh - A simple wrapper around nmap and arp to quick report and scan up host, better tools exist for most purposes, this is just simple a simple light start to a pentest not worried about detection.
  • ping-sweep.sh - Just a simple wrapper around ping on linux for a ctf.
  • py-ping-sweep.py - Another simple wrapper around ping, using python, with some input sanitization for a ctf.

Tool Creation

  • debugger-wrappers.py - Import this python script into your python module to provide two functions for helping you debug, especially if you are terminal only and don’t have an ide around.

Sending & Copying Files

  • betterHttpServer.py - A new do_GET implementation on the http.server python module used to transfer files and set up quick servers. This one defaults to displaying user-agent strings but can be flagged to display all headers or a specific other header. Note, this does not have encryption and should only be used in ways that will not jeopardize sensitive data on the wire (like encrypting a file before hosting it or sending reverse shell that has https as the communication channel).
  • dock-worker - A novel exfiltration tool over docker repositories.

Passwords, Hashes, and Cracking

  • auto-hash.sh - A simple wrapper around hashid and hashcat to automatically detect the hashid and start bruteforcing with rockyou, probably should add a one rule flag.

Searching

Reporting & Scoping

  • scope-dns-check.py - Python module to aid in confirming dns resolves to known in-scope IP addresses. Use to loop through given domain names and given IP addresses, matching returned True values, and further clarifying domain names / ip address combos that have no match.

Table Tops & Presentations

  • Incident Nonresponse - The Game - A game that showcases the chaos between disconnected security teams, the initial attack, and the rest of the organization frantically trying to get their products back into customer hands.

Licensing

  • All code listed in this repository is released under the GNU GPL version 3 or any later version, unless otherwise explicitly stated.
