- It started off trying to use hakyll as I was also trying to learn haskell, some of the default templates didn’t work out of the box and I didn’t have enough haskell experience to try to fix it.
- Eventually in the same month, I found emacs and org mode, I started using org files and exporting to html, which naturally works just fine with a static site like a small blog hosted on github pages
- Code blocks within web pages are GPL, blogs content of my experiences and prose are CC BY-NC-ND, website css is GPL, and finally website general formatting is CC BY-SA
Since I switched to emacs, the general workflow is:
- Create the desired webpage in a
.orgfile - Export using
C-c C-e h oto create an open the html exported file - Then stage and commit with magit
M-x Magit-Status(if not already up) thenc cto commit, type in the commit message,C-c C-c, thenP pto push
