• It started off trying to use hakyll as I was also trying to learn haskell, some of the default templates didn’t work out of the box and I didn’t have enough haskell experience to try to fix it.
• Eventually in the same month, I found emacs and org mode, I started using org files and exporting to html, which naturally works just fine with a static site like a small blog hosted on github pages
• Code blocks within web pages are GPL, blogs content of my experiences and prose are CC BY-NC-ND, website css is GPL, and finally website general formatting is CC BY-SA

Org -> HTML Workflow

Since I switched to emacs, the general workflow is:

• Create the desired webpage in a .org file
• Export using C-c C-e h o to create an open the html exported file
• Then stage and commit with magit M-x Magit-Status (if not already up) then c c to commit, type in the commit message, C-c C-c, then P p to push
