• Tray tooltip now shows “Amp” if no track is loaded, preventing errors when no songs are present.
• FLAC artwork extraction is safer by checking for missing pictures before use, which would cause crashes if missing.
• Track info updates are skipped if no valid song is loaded, avoiding crashes.
• Opening folders now catches errors and shows a message instead of crashing.
• Unreadable files are skipped when scanning folders, improving stability.
• Playback position and duration values are clamped to zero if VLC reports negatives.
• Progress bar and time labels now normalize invalid values for consistency.
• Command-line file opening applies the UI’s volume setting instead of a fixed default.
• Command-line file opening now supports .m4a files.

• Amp now displays metadata from .FLAC files.
• Added support for .OGG files.

Improvements

• Removed the Media menu option; items moved to File.
• Rather than downloading necessary libVLC dependencies on initial launch, the dependencies are now bundled in the Amp executable, being packaged when built. This allows Amp to be ran completely offline.

Bug Fixes

• The volume slider's initial position is no longer defaulted to 50%, even though the actual volume is set to 100% by default.
• Playing video files with audio file extensions no longer display video.
