feat(components): add expand all and collapse all to the component tree - #266
Conversation
The live tree can list up to 2000 instances, and the only way to open or close it was one row at a time. Add Expand all and Collapse all buttons to the toolbar, and support the * key from the ARIA treeview pattern, which expands the focused row and all of its siblings. Collapse all moves the roving focus to the nearest visible ancestor of the row that had it, so Tab always lands on a row that is shown. Both buttons are disabled while a text filter is active, because filtering already opens every row that leads to a match. The result is announced through the existing polite status region. Update the Components docs page and rebuild extension/ui.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Re-announce repeated bulk actions.
If a user presses Expand all twice, line 1853 sets the same text in the mounted status region. The second action produces no text change for a screen reader to announce. Line 1869 has the same problem for Collapse all. Clear the status text, then restore it in a later task. Cancel a pending restore when a newer announcement replaces it. Based on learnings, unchanged text in a reused ARIA live region needs a later-task restore, and newer announcements must cancel pending restores.

Pressing Expand all or Collapse all a second time set the same live message, so the status text did not change and screen readers stayed silent. The message now alternates with a trailing no-break space when it repeats, so every press is announced.

The live Components tree can list up to 2000 instances, and the only way to open or close it was one row at a time. This adds:

*to expand the focused row’s siblings. When collapsing all hides the focused row, focus moves to the nearest visible ancestor.
