Two fixes proven live on Sepolia (burner keys, faucet funds, publicnode endpoint): probe reachability through cast instead of the python client (public RPCs answer it with 403), and skip the local-chain clock reset when attached — evm_setTime exists only on anvil, real chains have no time control. Rehearsal result: deployment plus happy release, role guards and cancellation green on Sepolia; the three time-travel scenarios skip by design (wall-clock deadlines).

Proven live on Sepolia (the authorized testnet rehearsal, project
5a02a3ab): two fixes needed for real endpoints — probe reachability viacast(public RPCs answer the python client with 403) and gate the local clock reset behind the local mode (evm_setTimeexists only on anvil). Rehearsal result with burner keys + faucet funds: deployment, happy release, role guards and cancellation green on Sepolia; the three time-travel scenarios skip by design. Local default mode unchanged (7/7).
