The `pgserver` build started failing with the setuptools 74.0 release. This fixes the build dependency versions to prevent such regressions.
…10) Also updates the tests to check that SQLAlchemy works with both psycopg2 and psycopg3.
Change macos-12 to macos-13 in CI, since macos-12 is now deprecated on github actions.
- Run a formatter on pgserver codebase to align with standard Python and Pixeltable code conventions - Correct various other code style issues - Add typechecking with mypy and fix any type errors
Also removes legacy support for psycopg version 2.
…exist (#13) On some Linux systems, `runtime_path` does not exist at the time pgserver initializes. (In particular, this is true in various Docker containers, Google codespaces, and CI environments.) This change enables `tempfile.gettempdir()` to be used as a fallback if `runtime_path` does not exist.
