refactor(billing): isolate legacy split-line groups - #5362
Legacy split-line group operations and history types still live in core billing's contracts. Extract them into openmeter/billing/invoicing/legacy/splitlinegroup, with dedicated adapter and service implementations consumed by the legacy line engine and subscription sync.
This completes the group extraction and domain relocation following #5360. That PR has merged, so this branch starts directly from its merged commit and targets main.
Notes for reviewer
Billing retains invoice/line persistence, lifecycle, and customer locking. Group creation and reconciliation changes continue to share the caller's transaction and roll back with failed invoice writes.
Preserve ordered history, deleted-child facts, existing amount filters, pending line edits, and persisted-history simulation behavior. Keep shared standard-line header types in billing and remove obsolete group interfaces, aliases, and unused header wrappers.
Use validated constructor configs and a shared test helper returning the group service. Update the domain documentation alongside the ownership move.
Validated on the rebased commit with PostgreSQL-backed billing and subscription suites, legacy calculation and simulation tests, billing/application-consumer and e2e vet checks, scoped make lint-go-fast, and make mod across all four modules. One pre-existing subscription test remains explicitly skipped.
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Split-line groups now support creation, viewing, updating, and deletion, including subscription-scoped history.
Improvements
Split-line-group changes and invoice reconciliation now share a transaction, so failed billing updates roll back together.
Group history reads are scoped to the relevant namespace.
Subscription reconciliation uses persisted group history when calculating invoice updates.
Documentation
Updated billing documentation with details on split-line-group history and its interaction with invoice reconciliation.
Confidence Score: 5/5
The PR appears safe to merge; no actionable regression was found.
Summary
Moves legacy split-line groups into openmeter/billing/invoicing/legacy/splitlinegroup, with dedicated adapter and service implementations.
Split-line groups now have their own legacy billing service.
The legacy line engine now gets split groups through their own service.
Subscription sync now reads and updates group history through the new service.
Review checks were static; tests were not run.

Walkthrough
The pull request moves split-line-group models, persistence, and operations into a dedicated legacy package. Billing line processing and subscription sync use its service for group operations and hierarchy data. Tests cover lifecycle, namespace scoping, and transaction behavior.
Changes: Legacy Split-Line Group Service
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Split-line-group contracts and service openmeter/billing/invoicing/legacy/splitlinegroup/*
The package defines split-line-group models and adapter and service interfaces. Its service validates inputs and runs group operations through the adapter.
Adapter persistence and hierarchy mapping openmeter/billing/invoicing/legacy/splitlinegroup/adapter/*
The Ent-backed adapter implements group reads and writes, namespace-scoped related-record loading, transaction support, and database-to-domain mapping.
BillingRegistry constructs and stores the service and passes it to the line engine. The line engine uses it for group creation and hierarchy retrieval. Billing interfaces no longer expose split-line-group operations. Test setup and affected tests use the dedicated service.
Subscription-sync loading and reconciliation openmeter/billing/worker/subscriptionsync/*, test/billing/subscription_test.go
The persisted-state loader retrieves hierarchies through the dedicated service. Reconciliation routes group updates and deletions through it. Subscription-sync configuration and hierarchy types use the dedicated package.

Move the DB ↔ domain mapping helpers to mapping.go.
Hey, nice extraction! One small thing: the mapping helpers (mapSplitLineGroupFromDB, mapSplitLineHierarchyFromDB, mapSplitLineHierarchyLinesFromDB) sit in splitlinegroup.go in the new adapter/ package. The repo rule says these belong in mapping.go.
Move them in this PR. The package is new, so the move is cheap now and avoids churn later.
As per coding guidelines: "adapter/, repo/ | mapping.go | DB ↔ domain" (Type Translation Naming).
