Summary

  • Adds .claude/skills/ship-pr/SKILL.md encoding the post-edit flow: local architecture-review → make test-unit → push → gh pr create → gh pr merge --auto --squash --delete-branch.
  • Points AGENTS.md at the new skill so future agents use it instead of calling gh pr create directly.
  • No code changes; pure harness / agent-facing documentation.

Branch protection on main (see docs/MERGE_POLICY.md) already enforces the 6 required CI checks. The skill makes the local side of the flow consistent and ensures auto-merge is enabled so PRs land without a human babysitting CI.

Follows the steering loop in docs/HARNESS.md — turning repeatedly-restated guidance ("don't forget to enable auto-merge", "run L1 before pushing") into a control rather than oral tradition.

Test plan

  • make test-unit passes locally.
  • go vet ./... passes (no Go changes).
  • After merge: the next PR an agent opens in this repo should follow the ship-pr flow without prompting.

Encodes the previously-oral workflow "review → L1 → push → gh pr create
→ gh pr merge --auto" into a skill, and points AGENTS.md at it so future
agents follow the same recipe instead of calling gh pr create directly.

Branch protection (docs/MERGE_POLICY.md) already enforces the 6 required
checks; this skill makes the local side of the flow consistent and
ensures auto-merge is enabled so PRs land without a human babysitting CI.
