What it does

System Monitor combines CPU usage and temperature, RAM, swap, disk utilization, and aggregate network rates in one compact bar capsule. Users can independently toggle every metric, category separators, the detailed tooltip, network-unit style, and the monitored disk path.

External dependencies

None. The plugin only reads snapshots exposed by Noctalia's systemStats() and diskStats() APIs. It does not access the network, spawn processes, or write files.

Tested the local tmelik/system-monitor plugin with all seven default metrics, the settings page, category separators, compact network units, the root disk path, and the Control Center action. Also exercised the all-metrics-disabled state with separators and tooltip disabled, explicit network units, and /tmp as the disk path, then restored defaults. The upstream manifest validator and its unit tests pass locally.
