Linux support?

Hi, is it possible that anyone on the team is willing to spend some time getting this running on linux? Am willing to test on Arch/CachyOS based system.

Actually, VRCD already has Linux releases—so there’s no major porting job needed. I checked the current upstream release, v1.7.6, and confirmed it includes Linux AppImages and Debian packages.

For a typical Arch Linux PC, use the [x86_64 AppImage](https://github.com/DeliciousMeatPop/VRCD/releases/download/v1.7.6/vr-cyberdeck-1.7.6-x86_64.AppImage):

chmod +x vr-cyberdeck-1.7.6-x86_64.AppImage
./vr-cyberdeck-1.7.6-x86_64.AppImage

as soon as i have some spac ein my machine (im working with llms and quest3/unity) ill get to the remaining:

Arch-specific work would mostly be:

• USB permissions: ensure Quest access works without root; Arch provides [android-udev](https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/android-udev/) for Android-device rules.
• Real-device testing: verify detection, sideloading, backup/restore, and updates on Arch.
• Optional native packaging: an AUR package would make installation and updates more convenient, but isn’t necessary to run the AppImage.

My assessment: small packaging/testing effort, not a rewrite. I haven’t run it on Arch, so the release exists, but Arch compatibility still needs a hands-on check.
