uv definitely needs to be on this list! From the same people that did Ruff.

I would also add it in the build tools, as uv has it's own build package. The uv_build backend is even the default build backend when managing a project with uv from version 0.8.0 https://github.com/astral-sh/uv/releases/tag/0.8.0.

uv has more stars than any other package on this list (beyond other reasons); why hasn't it been added yet?

Also, it could go under "virtual environments" as well, since they wrap an integrated venv into the complete workflow.

Why isn't UV yet on here ?! Certainly one of the best (for me by far THE best) environment + build + dependency manager.

Since I don't see uv in the list, I start to question the reliability of the entire list 😅

Also, ruff is listed in the checkers, but not in the formatters.
