🚀 Installation & Deployment

1. Prerequisites

• Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Arch, Fedora...) or Windows / macOS
• Python 3.10+
• FFmpeg & FFprobe installed (sudo apt install ffmpeg)

2. Application Setup

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/mediapixelkr/Sujib.git /var/www/html/sujib
cd /var/www/html/sujib

# Create Python virtual environment
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

# Install dependencies
pip install --upgrade pip
pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Systemd Service Setup (Linux)

To run Sujib as a persistent background service:

# Copy systemd unit file
sudo cp sujib.service /etc/systemd/system/
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl enable --now sujib.service

4. Nginx Reverse Proxy Configuration

Add the following block to your Nginx site configuration (/etc/nginx/sites-available/default):

🌐 Browser Extensions (Firefox & Chrome v2.0)

Companion extensions allow you to send any YouTube video or playlist directly to your Sujib server with 1 click, multilingual support (English, Français, 한국어), and automatic profile & destination sync.

Firefox:

1. Download static/sujib-firefox-extension.zip (or .xpi) and extract it.
2. In Firefox, open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
3. Click "Load Temporary Add-on..." and select manifest.json.

Chrome / Chromium / Edge / Brave:

1. Download static/sujib-chrome-extension.zip and extract it to a folder.
2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions/ and enable "Developer mode" in the top right.
3. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder.

Configuration:

• Click the Sujib icon in your browser toolbar $\rightarrow$ Options / Settings.
• Enter your server URL (e.g. http://192.168.200.15/sujib).
• Profiles and custom destination folders are dynamically loaded in real-time!

⚙️ Configuration & Customization

Click on the Configuration button at the top right of the web interface:

• Preset Paths: Add your favorite destination directories with a label and absolute path.
• Quality Profiles: Customize containers (MKV, MP4, WebM, MP3) and yt-dlp -f format arguments.
• Regex Renaming Rules: Automatically clean noisy video titles (e.g., stripping [Official Video], standardizing hyphens and quotes).
• Subtitles: Enable automatic subtitle downloading as external .srt or embedded inside video streams.
