Installing Hugo is optional — make build installs it from requirements.txt (hugo==…) into the Python virtual environment. GitHub Actions reads that same pin so local and CI stay on one version.

make allto fresh start the development server - Visit http://localhost:1313

make runormakefor possible options - New posts can be created using
make new-post - All content is written in Markdown and stored in the

make formatto validate your new MD file - Run
make gitleaksto scan the full git history for leaked secrets
Gitleaks is installed into the uv-managed
virtual environment via the nogoo9-gitleaks
Python wrapper (see requirements.txt) — no separate binary
install is needed.
make formatruns a staged-only gitleaks check via pre-commit, blocking any commit that introduces a new secret.make gitleaksruns a full-history scan, using.gitleaks.tomlfor rules/allowlists and.gitleaks-baseline.jsonto suppress already-known historical findings.- After rotating or removing a known leak, regenerate the baseline with
make gitleaks-baselineand commit the updated file.
