Decisions: - token-scoped like the email campaign tools, so it skips the MAILTRAP_ACCOUNT_ID check - passes the validated input to the SDK as is: the SDK picks the known filters and axios drops empty arrays - the tool description names the rate denominators, since the model never reads the README - needs client.marketingStats from mailtrap/mailtrap-nodejs#169; the mailtrap bump follows its release Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

- Line 54: Update the MAILTRAP_ACCOUNT_ID guidance in CLAUDE.md to include the
batch-send tools among the tools that do not require an account ID, matching the
optional-account-ID guidance in README.md.
Review comments at @src/tools/marketingStats/getMarketingStats.ts:
- Line 26: Update the declared Mailtrap SDK dependency and its lockfile to a
published release that exposes MailtrapClient.marketingStats, so the
marketingStats.get call typechecks; keep the existing call unchanged.

… apart Decisions: - Reject impossible dates and an end_date before start_date with an "Invalid input" error instead of sending them to the API; zod's built-in date() check covers format and calendar validity in one rule. - The two stats tool descriptions name the traffic each covers, so a model asked about email performance picks the right one. - The MAILTRAP_ACCOUNT_ID lists are the one place that says which tools need it; they now include the batch-send tools, and the per-tool notes for get-marketing-stats are gone. Motivation
The API now has
GET /api/marketing/stats, which returns aggregated Email Marketing stats (campaigns and automations), the same numbers as Email Marketing → Stats Overview in the app. This adds aget-marketing-statstool for it.⛔ Blocked by mailtrap/mailtrap-nodejs#169. The tool calls
client.marketingStats.getfrom the Node.js SDK, which that PR adds. Until it ships in an npm release and this PR bumpsmailtrapto it, the typecheck fails, and so does CI on the new test suite. Against that PR's build, lint, tscand all tests pass.Changes

get-marketing-statstool returns the 13 Email Marketing stats fields as JSON: delivery, bounce, open, click, spam and unsubscription counts and rates, plussent_countstart_dateandend_date(YYYY-MM-DD) are required;sending_domain_ids,sourcesandemail_service_providersare optional filters.sourcestakescampaignsorautomations. One value narrows the stats to that source; omitting it, or passing both, covers all Email Marketing traffic.MAILTRAP_ACCOUNT_ID.README,
manifest.jsonandCLAUDE.mdlist the tool, and theMAILTRAP_ACCOUNT_IDnotes name it among the tools that don't need it.The in-app SDK code samples cover sending only, so this endpoint needs no change there.
How to test
You'll need an API token with at least viewer access to an account that has campaign and automation sends in the last 30 days. Configure the server with
